Are dental crowns permanent?
Permanent dental crowns are usually made of materials such as ceramic, gold, and metal-coated porcelain. According to The Journal of the Dental Association of South Africa, permanent crowns can last from 10 years to even 30 years.
Does it hurt to put the crown on?
In some people, placing temporary dental crowns may cause discomfort and pain. Even so, you don’t need to worry too much. This condition is not related to anything dangerous.
